TRITON

Every owner of a fish tank can agree that maintenance can be a pain in the neck. Testing water levels with test tubes and keeping track of water changes can be challenging, especially if one owns several fish tanks. Triton is an app that allows the user to run water tests with a click of a button and will get results within seconds. Users will get an alert for any changes in water that will require immediate attention. The dashboard also features TankMates that gives the user suggestions on any new fish to add to the tank depending on the fish already registered and the conditions of the tank.

BROOKLYN NETS

I created an unofficial rebrand of one of the NBA’s fifty teams, the Brooklyn Nets. Previously being the New Jersey Nets, the team relocated to Brooklyn in 2012 Since then, the team has established itself as young, modern, and different from the other forty-nine franchises. This rebrand focuses on the youthful and vibrant bourough, and features a fresh new logo, uniform design, court design, and more.

FERTILE GROUND

Urban food insecurity is defined as the lack of affordable and healthy food. Mississippi is the number one state in food insecurity. I designed a poster for the Fertile Ground Project bringing awareness to the food insecurity affecting Jackson, Mississippi. This poster includes 3D models and textures, and is in reference to the popular board game Monopoly. Monopoly is a game with no strategy involved, fate is determined through the 1 in 6 odds from a dice roll. Urban food insecurity affects 1 out of 6 people, the metal human piece on the board representing the affected person and each tile representing a struggle an affected person goes through.
